The Town of Wellfleet and the Wellfleet Fire Department wish to congratulate Deputy Chief Jospeh Cappello on being appointed as the next Fire Chief of the Wellfleet Fire Department!  Chief Richard Pauley retires on August 31st, Deputy Chief Cappello will then take over the duties on September 1st.  Joseph has worked with The Wellfleet Fire Department  for 32 years, his professional work ethic, extraordinary training and experience, and working in almost every aspect of the job made him the best candidate for the position. Congratulations Deputy!!
